As a real estate professional, I have had experiences with several reputable HVAC companies throughout greater Atlanta. When it came time to replace the HVAC on my personal home, I conducted thorough interviews with several companies - ultimately selecting Clout because of what I believed was transparent and high quality work. They came out in June of 2023 to replace the entire HVAC system as well as full replacement of ductwork in my attic. Since that job, there have been various cooling and heating issues. The latest being lack of heat throughout my entire home during the last few extremely cold weeks. As part of the 2-year service warranty I called Clout to come repair, only to find out that the company was sold and they would not honor any previous contracts. I understand this as a method to protect new business owners, but the failure to properly notify paying customers of such drastic changes is an irresponsible as a new owner. After several visits from the Clout technician, it was discovered that the installers failed to complete their portion of the contract and left me with failing ductwork and ultimately a bigger problem than I originally had. As you can see in the photos, they did not give me all new ductwork like I paid for, left loose live wires hanging as a potential fire hazard, and also left piles of trash that I myself had to clean up. I called the new owners to try to work through resolving the issue but they were rude nor helpful to trying to work together to fix the mistakes. I ultimately decided to get the opinions of other vendors to see how bad the damage was to the work that they did - most quotes to repair costing thousands of dollars. I gave Clout an opportunity to make it right but they refused to answer. As a real estate professional and based on my own personal experience, I would highly recommend never using this company for any sort of installment or service in the future.
