Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air

Should have just found a YouTube video and tried to fix my flapper DIY-style. Do not use this company in Columbus! They came to do a simple repair and ended up cracking my entire toilet tank. The crack clearly begins where the new flapper was installed. My tank is currently leaking toilet water on my bathroom floor. The tech also did a $500 repair on my washing machine (cold water wasn't working). He told me it was fixed, drove away, and when I went to do a cold water wash, the water was even more hot than before. Already had to have him return to fix that. Now awaiting another tech on a Saturday to look at their shoddy work on my toilet. Beware. Their 100% guarantee is a lie and the manager, Bradley McKinsey, claimed this wasn't covered by my service warranty. I promise I didn't sit here and crack my tank and I'm not trying to scam for a new toilet tank...I have better things to do on a Saturday. All I know was tank was fine, Dixie came to perform a simple repair and inspection in my bathroom, and within a few weeks I have a cracked tank with toilet water running on the floor. Just a side note: their estimate for fixing the tank was over $600. I looked up the part at Lowe's and it is $92. Absolutely insane. Do not call them. Find someone else or do it yourself! Update: Dixie made it right after speaking to the GM, Joe Banks. Though they did deny any responsibility for the crack in the tank, they did come out and install a completely new toilet at no cost. The employees who came out on this day, Tyler and Cam, were very friendly and professional. I appreciate you all working to rectify the situation

Jacob and Cameron were very professional. Dressed neatly with their uniform on. They have been very busy but we're able to take care of my concern. They greeted me with a professional hand shake and Introduction. The Office staff made the appointments and called in a timely manner if the Technicians schedule changed,a lot is going on.We will be calling on Dixie Plumbing in the future to take care of other plumbing needs. Went on line on a Saturday night + was contacted within the hour on what my issue was with electric in house! The two men came promptly Monday afternoon on a set time previously waving the initial fee to assess issues. They charted down what material were needed & returned the same day to fix issues! They were courteous, prompt, + thorough working quickly to address electric issues in my kitchen. Extremely happy & satisfied with their quality of work leaving no mess & did not complain about six small dogs walking around from time to time . I highly recommend this life saving company to any one needing fast, affordable , courteous service with a smile!
