Technician is only good at changing filters. He told me the motor stopped working and asked me to cut a hole in my ceiling so they can access it; I followed up multiple times for a second visit and I got ghosted; so I have a hole in my apartment and freezing in the winter. To add, my elderly parents are living with me during the holiday and they have to suffer through it because of the non-responsiveness, when all I’m asking is to put a date in the calendar for a return visit. Update: got another contractor for a second opinion, he said it was completely unnecessary to open the ceiling and had no issue accessing the motor and diagnosing the issue (he took the time check with colleague and went thru the documentation in the unit) with fast turnaround time. Hence not only am I forced to spend close to $1k for the freaking hole, but also had to deal with a defensive team that was completely non responsive and had the audacity to say I ignored their text. Update 2: my neighbor told me they botched an actuator installation that resulted in a short circuit that was burning the plastic covering the instructions manual; I guess they are also good at burning down people's apartments.

Peter was very helpful in diagnosing my A/C system and recommending the appropriate steps to get it fixed. The initial fee is not cheap, but, worth it, in my opinion, for someone like him, who will work with you.

I had a great experience with Fresh Air Company. I called them regarding a thermostat that wasn't working. Before booking an appointment, the owner called me back and told me how I might be able to quickly fix it myself (and without paying them anything), and even walked me through the steps over the phone. What do you know - his suggestion worked, and the thermostat was fixed two minutes later! They saved me a visit and a lot of money - highly recommended!
