All Temp Heating and Air Conditioning

Ed from All Temp was so wonderful in explaining the boiler and radiator system to us while inspecting everything. We are new to Chicago and were unfamiliar with living in a house with this type of heating system, thus, it was tremendously appreciated! Ed went above and beyond in checking the system out, and was incredibly thorough in doing some needed cleaning and maintenance to the system in the process. My furnace went out and I called All Temp and recieved a scheduled appointment within 30 minutes by a technician named Marvin. He was a very nice gentleman that explained the different options of how to fix my furnace. (Mind you my furnace is very old). But, I chose to bring my furnace back to operating order. Marvin had to order the part quickly and install it the next day. Marvin arrived early the following day and installed the part for the repair of my furnace. Shout out to Marvin and his excellent service. Marvin even went ahead blessed my furnace. So, I would highly recommend asking for Marvin for your heating and air conditioning service. I personally believe that they should have Marvin as employee of the month.

Alltemp was fantastic from start to finish. My furnace went out, and they scheduled my appointment for a time that was actually convenient for me. Marvin was the technician, and he found the issue almost immediately—but what really impressed me was how thorough he was. He could tell just by looking that there might be a deeper problem, so he used a camera to inspect inside the furnace. He ended up finding internal cracks that would’ve been a safety risk if someone had only fixed the obvious outside issue without checking internally. Marvin walked me through full replacement options, (not something I wanted to do), and explained the pros/cons and pricing in a way that felt honest and pressure-free. Somehow he even made me feel good about spending money—truly a gift in a stressful situation. He was knowledgeable about my current furnace, helped me understand replacement options, and even answered questions about replacing my AC later when the weather is nicer. Going forward, I’ll be requesting Marvin specifically because he was professional, personable, and made me feel comfortable having him in my home. If you’re using Alltemp, ask for Marvin—you’ll be in great hands.
