Hush Air Heating & Air Conditioning

5 stars --- no hesitation. We took bids from four HVAC companies and chose Hush Air to install a heat pump system to replace our old HVAC set up. The installation was completed a few days ago. On every count, from the time we first met with Darren for the quote, to the installation by Kash, Henry and Julian, Hush Air were superb. The price was very fair. The Trane equipment ranks well. Hush air had the best reviews of all the bidding companies. Kash/Julian and Henry hardly took a break and were rightly very proud of their work and their company. We have no hesitation in Recommending Hush Air to anyone who wants any heating/cooling work done. About the same time last year, we had our other HVAC replaced by another company who did a good job ---- but by comparison Hush Air are much better.

Had a good experience with the work of the technician Brian G. At my rental. He was detailed, professional, explained the issue at hand in layman’s terms. (My kind of language). He also was on time arriving at the house, gave a 15 minute curtesy call before arriving and finished less than the time I thought it would have taken him. A few true professional in all aspects of the work performed. A+ Service I am a very satisfied customer. Nothing like coming home from vacation to find your AC is down in mid-July in SoCal! My Ecobee screen was black. Called support and tried several things until they recommended calling my HVAC company. I have had service and repairs from Hush Air for many years, so gave them a call late Friday afternoon. Kim took my call and said, I did all the right things, but they may not be able to get someone out to my house until Monday (understandably), but she would try. In a matter of minutes, she called me back a routed Bryan to come over within the hour! Bryan did his best but my ~20 year old gas FAU was fried. Considering my AC Compressor was as old, it was suggested I replace them together. I agreed, avoiding yet another failure. I again spoke to Kim as well as Darren (owners) about what would be best for me. At this point it was Friday evening and Darren patiently took the time to answer my questions and asked some of his own to help understand my needs to make recommendations. He literally spent an hour on the phone with me! In the end we agreed on a solution. He said he would get all the equipment by Monday and have it installed on Tuesday. This in itself was a great stress relief and luckily temps stayed in the 80's through Tuesday. We talked about the Trane 14 Singe Speed, 17 Multi-Speed & 18 Variable Speed packages with a Heat Pump, FAU and Smart Thermostat. I landed on the 17, however Darren gave me a Hush Rebate, found me a California Rebate and City Rebate besides giving me a very reasonable cost for all the equipment, install and even filled out the paperwork for the City Rebate and setup the Permit Inspection, thus I ultimately opted for the Trane 18 Variable Speed. Oh, also included was a 10 year warranty and 2 years of service. Take away here, Kim and Darren are very knowledgeable and wanted nothing but to provide me with information and options to ultimately make the right decision for our home. Again, all decided by Friday evening! Very Impressed. On Tuesday Morning his team (Cash, Henry & Julian) arrived promptly, were very hard workers, friendly, professional, clean and did not hesitate to help me understand how to work the system. Considering the effort at hand, I was unsure if this could be completed by days end but again was pleasantly surprised it was completed with plenty of daylight left on Tuesday. They also checked my ducts in the attic and walked me through setting up the Trane UX360 Thermostat and the Trane Home App on my iPhone! These guys were great! Now, for the results ... I have a two-story house and even with my old AC Compressor (which was an upgrade to the original) it never really made a difference upstairs. This whisper quiet Trane 18 is great in several ways. One, it keeps the temperature within 0.5 a degree of your set point. Two, my upstairs though logically is slightly warmer then downstairs, has never seen cool air come out of the vents like it does now. Third, never having a heat pump I did not realize I could be running my AC 16 hours a day and end up with lower energy bills due to the variable speed and heat pump. Can't wait to see my future bills this summer. The Trane Smart Thermostat also has more features than my old Ecobee had. I understand technology does improve over time but may times they do not live up to expectations. My initial opinion is EVERYONE at Hush Air has always treated me fairly, are committed, do great work, and now provide great products. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.
