This company is accused of entering a contract, not providing necessary information, increasing the quoted price, and when the customer disagreed with the increase, Temperature Doctors refused to return the customer's $250k down payment. It is case number 2024-LA-0000074 filed in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Winnebago County. There is another case of eviction also filed in 2024 with the same court that alleges the company damaged and/or stole items attached to the building when they vacated. Also note that the owners and workers are of a certain religious organization which questions whether the excellent reviews are from members of that organization, as compared with reviews elsewhere and word-of-mouth reports. Please note that the reviews here name the same individuals, which indicates this is not a company with sufficient technicians to be on more than one work location at a time. Update due to reply. Consumers have a right to know the public record. Self-serving proclamations taint credibility. It sounds defensive, especially when Temp Doctors say they didn't pay the rent for almost a year because they didn't know where to send the check. (That was TD's defense.) That doesn't sound professional.

Temperature Doctors replaced my 35+ year old HVAC with a new cold climate heat pump with gas back up furnace. The new system is performing great. Temperature control in my tri-level is much more consistent and I look forward to the energy savings the heat pump will bring this winter. Josh was very knowledgeable and helped me design the right system for my home. The installation team was very professional and the job was completed in a little over a day.
